How to check Website Backlink in Ahrefs

Backlinks are links from one website page to another website. Backlinks are used as a vote of confidence by search engines like Google when ranking pages.

In the app, Google Search Console displays restricted data and doesn't display many key SEO metrics you can use to assess your backlinks. You can access more data for free using Ahrefs Webmaster Tools.

After creating the project, go to the dashboard and select Backlinks.

This will take you to the Backlinks report of the Site Explorer tool. This report will display all of your backlinks as well as relevant backlink statistics.

How to connect website in Ahrefs tool

Configure your first project in Ahrefs Webmaster Tools. There are two ways to add your first project. You can also add your project manually if you want. Click "Add Manually" to start the process.

1. Enter your website address in the space marked by the arrow above, and your project name will appear immediately.
2. After that, just press the “Continue” button.
3. Next, you need to prove that you are the owner of your website using one of the methods listed below.
