In general, only measurements, not the outcomes of Opportunities or Diagnostics, contribute to your Lighthouse Performance score. However, boosting opportunities and diagnostics is likely to improve metric values, implying an indirect relationship.
The Performance score is calculated by taking the weighted average of the metric scores. Naturally, measurements with a higher weighting have a greater impact on your overall Performance score. The metric scores are not displayed in the report but are calculated behind the scenes.
After gathering the performance data, Lighthouse translates each raw metric value into a metric score ranging from 0 to 100 by examining where the metric value sits on the Lighthouse scoring distribution. The scoring distribution is a log-normal distribution developed from real-world website performance metrics on the HTTP Archive.
